Dear Blog

I’m sorry.

I’ve neglected you recently. This life business appears to have got in the way of our relationship a little, so much so that yesterday, for the first time in over a year, you were completely ignored. Not one single person came to see you.

I’m sorry.

I promise to manage my time better, to allow you at least a small portion of my busy day, every day.

This wont happen again.

I’m sorry.

  1. There’s a duality here that’s difficult to fathom. Does life get in the way of blogging, or does blogging get in the way of life?

Before you allow your blog (which I dearly love!) to get it’s nose out of joint, I would remind it that it wouldn’t exist if you weren’t out livin’ your life, finding interesting things to see and examine and discuss. So here’s to you and your blog and your fascinating life… hip, hip, hooray!!!

    • As always, thank you for your kind words, they’re really appreciated. I have a little bit of writing to do to catch up with a fair few weeks of very few posts, but with so much done I’ll have enough material for a little while to come.

I think part of this has to do with the post A-Z lull in traffic… some people usually drop off until June or July (or forever!) because of exhaustion, or because of being reminded of how great “real life” is once they can go outside again after April. 😉
