It truly does pour.
These photo’s were a series I took when working in central Chad in a very remote place indeed.
They were taken over a period of around 90 minutes.
The first one was just a general pic of the area, luckily it coincided with what was about to arrive.
Then, it rained.
Then it stopped, and the clean up started.
I’ve been in many places in the world where it rains, the rainy season in South East Asia can be fairly heavy, but nothing I’ve experienced compared to this. Pitch black and rain so hard it hurt for about an hour, apocalyptic, then blazing sunshine.
A strange day.
