Job Hunting Again and What 2014 Has In Store for Desperately Seeking

It is with some alarm that I have returned to my blog, nothing that not a single item has been added for several months.

How my time has passed with such rapidity I’m at a loss to understand, however, this shall not occur again.

I’m still in Mauritania, (I have been allowed home from time to time) although this job will shortly be coming to an end, and I shall then be hoping for pastures new (even though I strongly suspect I shall be returning to pastures already chewed).

It is now mid March. My projects for the year are quite simple.

1. With a few friends, ride up Le Mont Ventoux on a push bike. I’m not looking foward to doing this, although I am very much looking forward to finishing it and having my photo taken next to the sign.

2. Go to Sweden for a holiday, go to Vietnam, Cambodia and China for a long holiday, go to Arnhem to celebrate and remember the battle there 70 years ago, and …..

3. Learn to fly.

Nothing too difficult there then, I’ll let you know how I get on.
